What you should know about St Patricks School

The Brigidine Sisters came from Ireland and arrived in Masterton in 1898 and lead the school at the previous school site opposite the parish church. Lay teachers assisted the nuns until 1986 when the last religious sister retired from her position as Principal. He helped to found the congregation of Brigidine nuns in 1807 and he chose St. The straw cross is based on a cross of rushes and tells the story of Christ’s life, death and resurrection
The Catholic Character language is integrated, developed and impaired through the RE curriculum. Patrick’s students to learn what the Catholic Church believes, celebrates and prays, form a relationship with God and prosper ways of integrating faith and life and culture.
Patrick’s students to explore, refine, and communicate ideas an s they link thinking, imagination, senses, and feelings to create works and respond to the works of others. Parent Assist There are lots of opportunities for parents to aid within the school. We are currently busy tow Ward the Green Gold Award and are committed to the philosophies of being an Enviro School. Situated at 132 Chapel Street Master ton, St Patrick’s is a sizable town school, currently with a roll of 250 pupils.
Preference students Parents make an appointment to face the parish priest and receive the preference enrollment form to be signed. Our native bush is added to each year when every new entrant adds a plant with the assist of a Year 6 pupils. The philosophy is integrated throughout class programmed and the school environment.
