What you should know about LAkeview School
Lakeview School is a school which was brought about by the merger of three Masterton Schools. Just over 50 of students come from Maori descent, 38 of our students come from European descent and the remainder come from other cultures and backgrounds. We are proud of our diversity and believe that this is one of our strengths. To us this is part of our backyard and we want to continue to develop our use of this wonderful resource.
We are committed to building a strong, open and supportive school that welcomes all pupils, parents and friends and helps students reach their full potential. Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each one of us can w ork to change a small portion of events,
We listen to other adults including teachers and parents from other schools. The Board is not responsible for the day to day management of the school this is the responsibility of the school Principal. Our team of Teacher aides help teachers with programmed for children who need additional help.
Parents are encouraged to reach into school and help at Maths, Reading and Language times especially in the junior school. If the teacher asks your child a question, don’t immediately answer for your child. Maximum of us are occupied fulltime, but we tranquil find the time to do this for our own and your children. This site has a number of games aimed at helping students in the junior school thrive their maths skills. Lakeview School is a relatively fresh school, brought about by the merger of three Master ton Schools in 2004. We carry out activities throughout the year in support of all children’s learning and social programmed, particularly through fund raising. Lakeview School will teach and support the attitudes, values and skills required for our children to have triumphant relationships at school and in the community.
There is a wide range of reading activities, as healthy as advantageous information for students and teachers. Lots of free games, songs, stories and activities for children you can have merriment and learn English too! On the website you can find information for schools, parents and kids of course! This is a collection of activities to assist children learn to read and spell. On the site there is a range of articles, games, puzzles, interesting questions, and activities. Children, staff and parents of our school need to be responsible for each other, their school, their property and their environment
