Green Acres was formed back in a small business, initially offering lawn mowing and gardening services to Kiwis. A mere five years later, we were given the prestigious NZ Service Franchise System of the Year Award. And since then we’ve continued to win awards, add services to the business, and grow to become NZ’s largest and most trusted complete home services company with franchisees the length and breadth of the country. Our success comes from two factors firstly, our understanding that we’re not just selling a service, we’re giving our clients the gift of quality time.
All our sub franchisees take pride in their work, are fully trained and security checked, and use top quality products. We’re lead by a management team with an impressive body of experience and serious devotion to growing the business . Greg specialises in mergers acquisitions and corporate financing including debt and equity raising , and has an interest in project commercialism and venture capital. A law graduate of Canterbury University, Greg has a post graduate business diploma from the University of Auckland and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Charles Sturt University in Australia.
In addition to his role with Green Acres, Mike is Chairman of Oceania Broadcast Limited, a director of SAECOWilson Limited, and an independent director of the Auckland Rugby Football Union Inc. Until recently he was the Managing Director and majority shareholder of Motion Industries Limited. A graduate of both Canterbury and Waikato Universities, Craig holds degrees in Forestry Science and Science respectively. He’s a Director in Hikumutu Vines Limited, which is relevant to his interests in the wine, forestry and horticulture industries. Until recently, Craig was also a Director and part owner of Timberlands Limited one of New Zealand’s largest independent forest management companies.
He also operated within Timberlands as part of their senior management team, specialising in Operations and Marketing. Previously he was General Manager of Beresford Associates, responsible for the divestment programmes for Lion Nathan, DB Group and Freightways Group with a portfolio value of 500 million
